Teck is looking for an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team at our Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes. Reporting to the Group Leader, Mobile and Lift.Please note this role does require the successful candidate to live within 100KM of Trail. British, Columbia. Relocation assistance will be offered, however there is no camp or company housing. Key ResponsibilitiesBe a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresOperate mobile cranes (up to 80 tonnes) to lift, move, position or place equipment and materialsAbility to perform minor to complex lifting of equipment with various types of riggingPerform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranesAbility to work within a flexible work environment with many trade disciplinesQualificationsMobile Crane Operator Hydraulic 80 Tonnes and Under Certificate or Journeyperson Crane Operator Ticket is required (Please submit proof of certification)Applicants require a Class 3 Drivers License with air brake endorsementClass 1 would be an asset Pay Range: 50.78/hrThe actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity. Why TeckAt Teck, your work matters—to the world, to our communities and to your future.As a leading Canadian resource company, we focus on responsibly providing the metals essential for global development and the energy transition while caring for the people, communities and land that we love.
