As a Pest Control Service Manager, you are an integral part of building and maintaining client relationships. Whether it is through identifying pest issues and infestations or recommending solutions, your expertise and professionalism provide the client with comfort, trust, and confidence. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to lead branch office policies and procedures, such as establishing quality control protocols.Insight offers homeowners a pest prevention and home maintenance package that will remove and prevent mosquitoes, ants, wasps, ticks, spiders, and mice from entering homes through a seasonal maintenance program. To meet the needs of our clients, we are constantly seeking and challenging new ways that redefine service delivery and expectations.Service ManagerJob Type: Full Time, Permanent PositionWork Schedule: 9:00am-5:00pm PST (Monday - Friday); Option to work overtime and weekendsLocation: Vancouver IslandPosition Summary - Responsibilities:Receiving and managing stock, inventory, mail, and other packagesProvide interior and exterior inspections for residential customers for overflow routesIdentify pests, entry points, and infestations for overflow routesCustomer Service; answer all customer inquiries in a professional manner and recommend appropriate solutions to resolve customer concernsSetting up, cleaning, and organizing the branch office to be consistent with health and safety policiesDelivering product to technicians in the fieldOn an as needed basis, you will be required travel to assist with oversight and trainingPhysical Demands:Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 30+ pounds of equipmentMust be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions, such as confined spaces (i.e crawl spaces), damp and/or dusty locationsMust be able to physically perform essential duties, such as walking, crouching, balancing, and reachingMinimum Qualifications - What will make you successful:Self-motivated and able to work with little supervisionReliable and able to communicate with Branch Managers and other coworkersSomeone who takes pride in their workSomeone who possesses strong interpersonal skills; able to build on existing and new customer relationshipsSomeone who is a quick thinker and enjoys problem-solvingMust possess a Structural Exterminator LicenseClass 5 Drivers License and a clean driving recordClean Criminal RecordMust be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicleInterest in Pest Control*Special Note: Prior to the start date, you will be required to complete your licensing exam and adequate training to service in the field.The Perks - What’s in it for youCompetitive SalaryBenefits: dental, vision, medical, life insurance, etc.Company vehicle and gas cardFlexible work scheduleNo cockroaches, bed bugs, or ladderConsistent daily route schedules with short drive times between locationsFull-time employment (40 hours/week) with the opportunity for overtime.
