The Therapeutic Assistant will work cooperatively and collaboratively with the inter-disciplinary team in carrying out the individual's care plan and communicating patient specific information that will enhance the level of knowledge of the treatment team.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following: Grade 12 plus completion of year one from an accredited Therapeutic Recreation program which includes the Therapeutic Recreation Foundations CourseCurrent CPR certification is requiredCurrent St. John Ambulance First Aid course preferredCurrent certification in Non Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) is an assetStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of community resourcesCompetencies in other languages preferred; French an asset Please ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.HoursLong Assignment, Full-Time / 75 Hours Bi-WeeklyJanuary 2026 to July 2028, approximately 18 monthsCompensation and Benefits$24.75 - $28.36 Hourly Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.   Once You've AppliedThank you for your interest in this position.
