Site Masterplanning Engineering Lead – Major Nuclear Infrastructure Project

Job DescriptionThe Site Masterplanning Engineering Lead is responsible for defining and coordinating the overall site masterplan for a large-scale nuclear infrastructure project. The role ensures alignment between engineering design, site constraints, construction sequencing, and project milestones within a highly regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and optimize the site masterplan, including layout, zoning, and phasingTranslate project strategy into practical, constructible site development scenariosIntegrate constructability, logistics, access, safety, and future operations constraintsCoordinate interfaces across engineering disciplines (civil, structural, systems, utilities, equipment)Ensure spatial and scheduling consistency between engineering deliverables and construction plansDefine construction sequencing, key milestones, and critical dependenciesIdentify site-related risks and interface conflicts and propose mitigation strategiesSupport project governance and decision-making with clear technical inputsQualificationsEngineering degree or equivalent technical background10+ years of experience on complex industrial or infrastructure projectsStrong expertise in site masterplanning, engineering coordination, and interface managementExperience in nuclear or other regulated environments is a strong assetProven ability to work in multidisciplinary and multi-stakeholder project teamsAdditional InformationLong-term consulting role on a strategic nuclear project with close collaboration across engineering, construction, and project management teams. On-site presence required in Kincardine, Ontario, Canada.
