Job Summary: Maintain physical plant and equipment to ensure 100% production up-time Maintain, PM and ensure robustness of production equipment Safety of all manufacturing equipment and facilities in the Plant Required Qualifications/ Education Requirements: Certified Millwright. Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent verbal/written English skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. Good computer skills Ability to troubleshoot Experience Five years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in Automotive. Job Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain excellent attendance Ability to work independently without supervision and with minimum direction Ability to work in a team environment and be both a team player and team leader Support and contribute to the Quality Systems and environmental Systems requirements Ensure that all duties and tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and at no time is the employee or their co-workers placed in an unsafe condition Respecting and understanding of the Customer/Supplier relationship Professional and timely completion of projects Ensure that all manufacturing equipment is properly maintained Ensure all preventative/predictive maintenance is performed as scheduled Maintain inventory levels on all parts Store all parts or tooling properly Maintain all of the following forms: Tooling History Record Sheet Tooling Predictive Maintenance/History Record Sheet Tooling Rework Schedule Preventative Schedule for Weld Electrodes Tooling Subcontracted for Rework Tooling To Be Sent Out For Rework/Perishable Tooling Inventory Perishable Tooling Status Observe all safety practices Ensure compliance to ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 Address safety issues Work on ladders, lifts and scaffolds Follow company policies on Health, Safety and Environmental and PPE requirements Contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives on all aspects of the job Any other duties as needed Martinrea International Inc. is proud to provide employment accommodations during the recruitment process.
