Average 24 hours per week with potential for up to 40 hours a week during our peak seasons and for vacation coverage.  Wage: $17.95/hrMilage: $0.62/km between storesSchedule: Monday, Thursday, & SaturdayShifts: Days, between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PMHours: 24+ hours/week ResponsibilitiesMaintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck).Build, change or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space and securing damaged or defective product.Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safetyManage backroom by organizing stock (product); identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels; evaluating and processing damaged product; re-packing product; organizing backroom materials (i.e., pallets, product shells etc.); completing any required paperworkMaintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.    Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.Physical Requirements:Repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistanceConsistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the headAbility to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistanceAbility to stand and walk for long periods of timeQualificationsMust be 17 years of ageMinimum one (1) year experience working in grocery, retail, warehousing or related field preferredExperience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferredMinimum one (1) year experience working under little to no supervision preferredMust have access to a personal vehicle for use during working hoursMust have current vehicle liability insuranceA valid driver’s license with a clean driving record with no major violations over the last three (3) yearsWhy work with us?Join a local, family-owned business that’s part of a globally recognized brand, where you can develop your capabilities, competencies, and career.Coke Canada has a culture of learning, and we offer several channels to support your development, including on-the-job training and a library of free courses for just-in-time learning.We are committed to offering a comprehensive benefits package designed to help our employees achieve their best physical, mental, financial, and overall health and well-being.
