Our client is seeking an Waterproofing Estimator to join their reputable construction company, focusing on waterproofing for high rise, and ICI projects.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for accurately estimating and analyzing costs associated with waterproofing activities for high rise construction.Conduct detailed analysis of project plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports to determine the scope of waterproofing work.Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates by calculating material volumes, labor requirements, and equipment usage for waterproofing .Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and subcontractors, to gather necessary information and clarify waterproofing project requirements.Utilize industry-standard software and tools to perform cost estimations efficiently and ensure accuracy.Perform detailed quantity takeoff for excavation materials and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and propose innovative waterproofing solutions while maintaining project quality and safety.Prepare competitive bid proposals based on accurate cost estimations and waterproofing project requirements.Maintain organized project files, generate reports on cost estimates and variances, and assist in change order estimates.Salary $100k+ depending on experience

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.4-7  years of experience in waterproofing estimation with waterproofing companies.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication are required.Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and soil conditions is desired.
