Why This Role is Important Reporting to the Senior Manager, Reporting, Planning and Forecasting, this role will supervise the Loblaw Digital portfolio and will support the compilation of the monthly financial results for the CoE. The ideal candidate will have a financial background, with P&L reporting experience. The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: defining, describing, and implementing strategic planning and forecasting, through collaboration with internal and external/vendor resources, building long and short-term forecasts, including financials and facilitating the staffing process, both internally and externally.We are looking for a candidate that is a self-starter, highly energized, and has excellent communication and presentation skills. The right candidate will bring a strong mix of experience with financial planning and reporting within operations, and a ‘roll-up-your-sleeves’ approach.What You'll Do:CoE Operational Performance:Maintain and develop required operational and performance reports for the line of businessIdentify trends and averages on volumes daily, weekly, monthly and on a seasonal basisDevelop and maintain historical data (e.g., absenteeism, attrition, management investment, call volume, productivity, service level performance, staffing adherence, etc.)Fill ad hoc reporting needs for business and present results in a concise, decisive format for various partnersIntegrate various data streams into a coherent and accurate view of program activitiesWork where needed with the Salesforce automation teams/data teams to automate reports or build the requests for data extractions.Financial Performance & Insights:Supervise monthly/period financial performance and provide insights to improveAssist with development of the performance decks (including PBRs) with accuracy and provide commentary to support variances to plan and LESupport annual planning and periodic LE submissions with data extractions and modelsForecasting and Planning – Contact Volumes and ResourcesTrack and analyze historical volumes and patterns, and agent performance metrics (schedule compliance, absenteeism, average handle time)Work with cross-functional teams within the business to improve customer service processesWhat You Bring:University Degree in an analytical field such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience1-3 years of experience in a similar roleTableau programming is a strong assetIntermediate Excel Skills (formulas such as sumifs/countifs), as well as the skills for data manipulationStrong attention to detailSalesforce usage and Salesforce reporting skills are an assetCall Centre experience is an assetVBA or SQL skills are an assetAbility to articulate sophisticated problems and insights in a clear and concise manner for team membersStrong collaborator but work well independently and can manage multiple projects/responsibilitiesOur commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact is an essential part of the way we do business, and we focus our attention on areas where we can have the greatest impact.
