Read on, you may have found your new home….We’re looking for a Certified Millwright to join our redesigned, modern lumber mill located near Williams Lake, British Columbia. Our Lakeview Division safely and sustainably produces over million board feet of lumber per year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:  Experience working as a Millwright with a valid Interprovincial Ticket. Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems. Ability to read blueprints, plans and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills. Commitment to working safely. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Good organizational and planning skills.  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.  Experience withComputerized Maintenance Management Systems(CMMS) - preferably JD Edwards.   Previous experience in a forest products environment is considered an asset. Keep our systems running smoothly byperforming preventative and predictive maintenance. This includesinspecting machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
