About the roleThe Corporate Communications team leads Intact Financial Corporation’s internal and external communications in support of IFC’s business objectives and strategic roadmap. This includes:Supporting and amplifying the common elements that bring us together, define our unique culture and drive outperformanceEnhancing employee engagement across IFC, emphasizing what makes us a winning teamProtecting and promoting the IFC brand and reputation globallyElevating IFC’s role in helping to build resilient communities where we do businessAmplifying IFC’s knowledge, expertise and thought leadership in our key marketsWithin the Corporate Communications team, the HR Communications team works closely with HR partners and other communications teams to engage and empower employees through internal communications strategies and tactics that connect the dots for them with IFC's employee promise, purpose, values, objectives and strategy.As HR Communications Advisor II, you will establish strong working relationships with HR partners and support communications projects that deliver on HR's strategic priorities. Your role involves drafting engaging communications, managing content on internal channels, and providing recommendations on innovative storytelling methods. You will collaborate closely with your Corporate Communications colleagues, support key projects, track success metrics and provide recommendations on how we can enhance the impact of our communications.The successful candidate will report to the Director of Internal Communications.What you'll do here:Establish strong relationships with HR partners to understand their business needs, collaborate, and support projects that deliver on HR’s strategic priorities. HR Partners include:DEITalent AcquisitionTalent Management & Employee ExperienceRewards and RecognitionLearning and DevelopmentCompensation and BenefitsProjects teamsDraft effective, clear and engaging communications which are appropriate for the intended audiences, including key messages, internal articles, and Q&As.Distribute, post and help manage content on internal channels, including the intranet and newsletters.Research and provide recommendations on innovative and creative ways to tell stories and achieve communications objectives, leveraging different tactics including video and events.Collaborate with colleagues across Corporate Communications and communications partners across the business to drive alignment, connect the dots and leverage best practices.Support team members on key projects that contribute to our communications objectives.Establish and track KPIs and other success metrics for all projects. Provide recommendations based on findings and learnings.What success looks like:Contributes meaningfully to the Corporate Communications team, our objectives and action planSupports and delivers results for our key stakeholders and internal business partnersBuilds strong, collaborative working relationships with colleaguesImplements effective processes and best practices in all projectsStrives to live the IFC ValuesWhat you bring to the table:An undergraduate degree with specialization in communications, public relations, marketing or a related disciplineMinimum of 3 years of communications experience working in a corporate or similar environmentExceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detailStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop strategic insightsExcellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong working relationships across diverse teamsWillingness and ability to learn new skills to support the teamHighly computer literate with strong command of MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)Experience with SharePoint Online and Staffbase is an assetFor candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.#LI-HybridCe poste jouera un rôle essentiel au sein de notre équipe. | This position will fill an essential role in our team.
