Your Opportunity Stantec Consulting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrical ITS AutoCAD Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of drafting experience in consulting engineering. The ideal candidate will possess an Electrical Technologist diploma and demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation software. This role involves creating detailed electrical drawings and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient project execution. Your Key Responsibilities Use AutoCAD/MicroStation to create and design electrical drawings for projects in transit, transportation, highway lighting, traffic signals municipal projects from general engineering and design information according to established standard and procedures. Develop product design which meet client requirements and adhere to a high standard of form, function, appearance and quality. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards. Review and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics. Assist in the design and drafting of electrical systems for various projects. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Maintain and update project documentation and drawings. Perform lighting calculations using software is preferred. Your Capabilities and Credentials Proficiency in relevant software tools including: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) AutoCAD/MicroStation Strong understanding of electrical and ITS components. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting. Ability to interpret and apply technical information. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations. Education and Experience Minimum of 1 year of drafting experience in consulting engineering. Diploma in Electrical Technology. Preferred Skills: Experience with other CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation). Knowledge of project management principles. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
