Material Handler

Contract, Material Handler Key Job Elements: •Maintain safe work practices at Customer Support & Training Centre (CSTC) •Operate forklift to execute material and other commodities requirements (including but not limited to, identification, receiving, warehousing, picking, packing, kitting and material handling) for workshop repair, maintenance, modifications, retrofits and assembly operations •Process material transactions in the Oracle Maintenance Management System accurately and in a timely manner •Communicate and provide advice, guidance and technical assistance to internal and external customers on vehicle material requirement issues and repair procedures. AdvantagesContract, Material HandlerLondon ON1 year contract (renewable)$22.00 – 28.00/hrResponsibilities•Assist in the preparation of various management and log reports and provide regular communication and monitor parts usage, shipping/receiving accuracies/discrepancies, shop floor inventory requirements, material availability and status •Provide and support the material needs of workshop personnel to meet schedule requirements and move material to intended end user •Assist in inventory, disposition and disposal of scrap and discrepant material •Move and control parts and material in accordance with the company guidelines •Maintain care and control of Government Property in accordance with company processes and procedures •Assist in inventory audits or stock checks as requested QualificationsRequired Qualifications •Demonstrated organizational, analytical and decision-making skills •1-2 years of related experience •1-2 years of experience and proficient with ERP/MRP software usage (Oracle preferred) •MS Office/Excel/Outlook proficiency •Able to be ITAR/CGRP compliant or registered •Valid driver’s license •Able to drive a Fork Truck •Able to complete HAZMAT training •Strong oral and written communication skills •Ability to travel (10% U.S. & International, 10% Canadian) and possess/able to acquire and maintain a valid passport Preferred Qualifications •Post-secondary diploma •Familiarity with Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) products •Level II Security Clearance •RPAL (Restricted Firearms license) SummaryQuestions?I can be reached at dawn.urbanowicz@randstad.caWhile we at Randstad Engineering appreciate all applicants who apply, only those selected for a preliminary interview will be contacted.Randstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
