As an Onboarding Officer, you work as part of a team to establish and maintain a control infrastructure to mitigate risk to RBC and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations and RBC policies.What will you do?Administration of compliance on-boarding and monitoring functions including Know Your Client (KYC) and Client Due Diligence (CDD) for new and existing clientsAssist in the maintenance of documentation, appropriate recordkeeping, and due diligence in accordance with RBC and regulatory requirementsExecute routine tasks such as service requests, transactions, client enquiries etc. within relevant service level agreementsCoordinate with internal partners such as Front, Middle and Back Office staff to obtain required information and applicable documentation related to client on-boarding and KYC production and ensure adequate due diligence process is carried out for client accounts and documentation reviewsIdentify data anomalies and red flags for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and sanctions violations, and escalate for second level reviewAssist Onboarding Manager on reportable events, breaches and other instances of non-compliance as well as remedial action steps related to the Company’s compliance requirementsStay up-to-date with knowledge of compliance and risk management mattersIdentifying and resolve process gaps and provide advice and proactive support to keep business partners informed on issues relating to risk, control, and complianceWhat do you need to succeed?
