About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced recruiter with a strong administrative background to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis. This role offers the opportunity to transition to a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate who demonstrates excellence and aligns with our organizational needs. Key Responsibilities As our Healthcare Recruiter, you will: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for various healthcare positions while maintaining efficient administrative systemsScreen, interview, and assess candidates for clinical and non-clinical healthcare rolesCoordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidatesMaintain accurate applicant-tracking records and recruitment databasesPrepare offer letters, job postings, and other recruitment-related documentationBuild and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, educational institutions, and professional associationsStay current on healthcare industry trends, licensing requirements, and regulatory considerations affecting recruitmentCoordinate and track immigration applications for current and future employeesLiaise with immigration consultants, lawyers, and government agencies as neededMaintain accurate records of immigration status and documentation for all international hiresProvide guidance and support to candidates navigating the immigration processManage recruitment documentation and workflows using SharePointLeverage Microsoft 365 tools and Copilot to enhance productivity and streamline processesMaintain organized digital filing systems and collaborative workspacesSupport benefit and pension administration for new hires and existing employees, ensuring accurate enrollment and record-keeping Required Qualifications Proven experience in healthcare recruitment, whether in agency, corporate, or institutional settingsStrong administrative and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detailHands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for managing candidate pipelines and recruitment workflowsProficiency with the Microsoft 365 Suite, including SharePoint for document management and collaborationExperience using Microsoft Copilot to optimize workflow efficiencyKnowledge of healthcare roles, certifications, and licensing requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectivelyStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholdersKnowledge of PEI immigration processes and programs, or a strong willingness and ability to learn immigration requirements and procedures quickly Preferred Qualifications Experience in recruiting regulated healthcare professionals such as nurses, pharmacists, and allied health workersFamiliarity with the healthcare systems and recruitment landscape of the Atlantic provincesPrevious experience managing immigration support for international healthcare workersUnderstanding of work permit requirements and credential recognition processes for healthcare professionalsAdvanced skills in automating recruitment using M365 tools and AI-assisted features What We Offer This position offers a flexible part-time schedule with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on performance and organizational needs; a collaborative work environment supported by modern technology tools; training and support for PEI immigration processes as needed; and the chance to make a meaningful impact on healthcare staffing in the Atlantic provinces.
