Description Position at Ainsworth If you thrive in a team-oriented workplace that challenges your skills, to drive your career development, embraces diversity and rewards innovation, with competitive pay and great employee programs, join the Ainsworth (a GDI company) team todayPosition Summary:We are currently seeking a highly energetic and organized Electrician Journeyman/Foreman for a full-time position based in Charlottetown, PEI.Responsibilities:Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installationslead teams on site to achieve company objectives Pull wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floorsInstall brackets and hangers to support electrical equipmentInstall, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panelsSplice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuitsTest continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repairTroubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty componentsConnect electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signaling devices and heating and cooling systemsConduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.Qualifications:Valid Red Seal Electrical LicenseMust be able to obtain and pass Security Clearances once hiredPrevious experience and knowledge of control systems is an asset
