Our corporate culture, which is characterized by passion, cooperation, and the drive to move things forward, has allowed us to offer 200 internal promotions to our Canadian employees in recent years.YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM: As an Equipment Operator in our Production Team, it will be your responsibility to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment and optimize operations.APPLY and JOIN our dynamic team in a fascinating high-tech environment facing new and exciting challenges daily.Position Overview:As an Equipment Operator in our Production Team, it will be your responsibility to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment, optimizing operations. Support the daily operations by way of clearing system faults (technical or operational), identify areas of improvement, and monitoring material workflow using system reports and dialogues.Responsibilities:Report product and equipment issues in assigned areasClear machine faults in a timely and efficient mannerWork together with team members to ensure equipment faults are rectifiedComplete reports for damaged cases, and other general order-picking machine issues Learn and understand system widgets for reporting purposesReturn all products and cases outside of automation to designated areasRegularly sweep floors, and remove dust from and underneath equipment and panelsMonitor system performance and operational statusEscalate repetitive faultsManipulate and drive system equipment as per system order message Provide feedback and updates on system performanceCompliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety programOther duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum High School DiplomaSpecific technical education is an assetTraining in entry-level electromechanics an assetTechnically and mechanically inclinedMust be able to work days, evenings, nights and weekendsAbility to travel for training if requiredKnowledge/Experience Required:Technically and mechanically inclinedPractical attitude and ability to learn new tasks, concepts and proceduresPC skills in a Windows environmentMust be able to climb ladders and work at heights up to 30 meters after extensive training and with adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) including a fall protection safety harnessMust be able to work in conditions of +5C up to -28C with personal protective equipment (PPE) provided including cold temperature gear, facial gear, gloves, and handwarmersMust be able to work days, evenings nights and weekends (After ramp up begins, preferred shifts will be assigned based on hire date)Ability to travel if required for trainingTraining in entry-level electromechanics an assetOur offer:Excellent Medical and Dental InsuranceRRSPLoyalty Bonus based on hire datePaid Sick daysInternal training program/tuition reimbursementAdvancement opportunitiesQuality work environmentPay Rate:21/hrNOTE: This description is not exhaustive.
