Title: Senior Mainframe Lead Developer/ Architect Location: Remote / On-site / Hybrid options available Duration: 6 Months  Introduction We are seeking an experienced professional to provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in the design, development, and support of complex mainframe-based systems. This role involves deep hands-on mainframe experience combined with strong analytical skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to lead the resolution of highly complex and multifaceted technical challenges. Required Skills & Qualifications Extensive experience as a mainframe developer with strong hands-on expertise in MVS, TSO, COBOL, JCL, and mainframe utilities Strong working knowledge of mainframe databases and transaction processing systems, including DB2 and IMS DB/DC Proven experience in analysis, design, development, technical solution implementation, software support, and testing Demonstrated readiness and motivation to function as a senior/lead developer and trusted technical authority Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems High level of commitment to quality and ownership of deliverables Preferred Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of Wire Payments processing Experience with SWIFT MT messages Familiarity with SWIFT ISO MX messages Day-to-Day Responsibilities Act as a senior or lead developer and valued subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and leadership across mainframe initiatives Analyze, design, develop, test, and support robust mainframe solutions that meet business and technical requirements Lead and resolve highly complex development-related issues, including production support and root cause analysis Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and best practices Ensure high-quality deliverables through strong design discipline, thorough testing, and adherence to coding standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, infrastructure, and operations Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing within the team Support continuous improvement initiatives and modernization efforts related to mainframe platforms Company Benefits & Culture Inclusive and diverse work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Comprehensive health and wellness programs For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
