In this role, you will: Read and understand the architecture and functional requirements specification document(s) and communicate and collaborate with systems engineers and architectsProduce an implementation specification document and have it reviewed by your team, architects, analog designersBe accountable for the creation and integration of new and existing RTL and/or C source code, algorithms and functionsCreate timing constraints for your code, and participate in synthesis log reviews, constraint reviews, timing report analysis, layout and backend reviewsBe responsible for designer testing of code, debugging code during simulation and regression verificationAssist the verification team in determining coverage and provide design assertions and waiversBe involved in lab validation of the product and its prototype if applicableReport on status updates on a regular basisMinimum of 8 years’ experience in ASIC design engineeringProficiency above the intermediate level with use of System Verilog for designExperience with digital design synthesis, STA, timing closure and asynchronous clock crossingGood understanding of timing/power/area analysis and trade-offsFamiliarity with digital (including formal) verification methodsExperience with digital silicon design backend processExperience with digital design for low powerExperience in DSP and/or Forward Error CorrectionExperience with standards and protocols such as Ethernet OTN, B100GExperience with mixed-signal designExperience with using Jira for bug tracking and GIT for source code management and revision trackingFamiliarity with programming languages such as: Python, Make, bash, object-oriented programming, C, C++, System CSoft Skills:Excellent organization, written and oral (English) communication skillsAbility to methodically solve complex technical problemsA highly motivated self-starter, able to work independently, while being a team player Education:Electrical or computer engineering, computer science or other applicable scientific degree at the BEng/BSc or MEng/MSc levelHigh Tech Genesis Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
