Working closely with Project Engineers/Managers and Discipline Manager and participate and provide support to senior staff in the design of complex Land Development projects including large scale residential, industrial, and commercial developments in and around Calgary.What a day at EXP has in store for youDesigning various municipal infrastructure components, including water mains, sanitary sewer systems, storm drainage, lot grading, roadways, and stormwater management facilitiesPerforming design-related calculations under the supervision of a professional engineerUtilize AutoCAD Civil 3D in projects from concept to completionWork as part of team to deliver engineering drawings to be submitted to local approving authority Engineering record drawing preparation for land development projectsWhat your experience looks likeA strong desire to gain experience in the Land Development industryCivil Engineering Degree or Technology DiplomaA strong working knowledge and minimum 3 years' experience using AutoCAD Civil 3DExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is an assetExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsStrong detail orientationOrganized, works well under pressure and able to deal with situations with tactA valid driver's license and vehicle is requiredDemonstrated ability to perform individually or as a member of project teamsComfortable working independently in both an office and field environmentAbility to multi-task, must enjoy meeting deadlines EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
