As a student at PCL, you will get the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes personal and professional growth. We are seeking a Solar Engineering Student, for our Solar District that is available for 8-16 months starting May 2026. As a Solar Engineering Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:ResponsibilitiesMonitors and reviews project data and prepares related analytics tools to analyze and interpret performance on solar projectsReports to commissioning and field staff all irregularities in data, monitoring trends in project performance Establishes new systems and processes and looks for opportunities to improve analytics toolsAssisting with coordinating and managing the project design and procurement process which includes taking detailed meeting minutes and following up on open items.Assisting with review of RFP documentation, drawings/diagrams, Commissioning plan and electrical studies for key design requirements.Facilitating communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders by utilizing PM4+ to send RFIs and submittals.Ensuring project compliance and quality through site O&Ms and warranty item trackingStreamlining project processes by converting excel inspection test plans into PM4+ ITP templates.Supporting project success by developing and maintaining Power BI Synoptics design dashboards for projects.Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.Developing and maintaining strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders. QualificationsCandidates must have a strong desire to work in a design functionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSuperior attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentApplication of various computer software programs will be required, including AutoCAD, word processing, and spreadsheet applications (Excel)Familiarity with PM4+ and Power BI is a plus Next Step:Please note that candidates who have been selected to move forward to the next stage of the recruitment process will receive an email to complete a short online video interview. The estimated hourly range for this role is $21.37- $31.34, based on your experience and qualifications.
