Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Capital Markets Transformation team supports RBC Capital Markets by working closely with business, functional and technology partners to enable and execute on company-wide change initiatives. This role is strategically important in driving business transformation and ensuring regulatory compliance, ultimately contributing to the long-term success of RBC Capital Markets.We are looking for an eager and high-performing individual to work on regulatory and strategic projects within our group, with a focus on delivering impactful business outcomes.What will you do?Develop key relationships within the Business, Functions, and across RBC segments, to execute on project deliverablesLead working groups with cross functional teams to deliver results, triage issues, and drive progressContribute to the preparation of senior management meeting materials, such as Steering Committee and Executive Committee meetings, as well as other regularly scheduled program forumsSupport Program status reporting across the Program and at the Executive level to ensure Program goals and objectives are executed and clearly, consistently communicated across all teamsEnsure that project plans are maintained and that tasks are on track to meet project milestonesFacilitate issue resolution/escalation, manage interdependencies and ensure the accurate maintenance of the RAID logWork with third party suppliers/consultants as required to deliver on Program objectivesProvide leadership and direction to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovationWhat do you need to succeed?Must Have Undergraduate university degree in Business, Finance or a related field requiredMBA or relevant professional designation strongly preferred7+ years of program management experience with a demonstrated track record of leadership, problem-solving, and relationship managementExperience with large regulatory programsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong knowledge of Capital Markets products/services and processesAbility to collaborate, partner with senior business stakeholders, project managers and team membersAdvanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups), PowerPoint (strong storyboarding of executive presentations), and Visio (process flows)Comfort with ambiguityA passion for learningNice to Have Project Management Professional (PMP) CertifiedPlease note that a Vice President role in Capital Markets is not equivalent to a Vice President role within the broader RBC Enterprise.
