Here’s what you’ll deliver: Assisting with parts inquiries.Filling orders for Service Technicians in the Service Department.Placing orders in a timely fashion.Maintaining proper inventory levels.Inspect damaged parts brought in by customers to determine the proper replacement. Consult catalogs for stock numbers and prices and bring parts from the stockroom. Suggesting part(s) that are interchangeable, placing special orders for a part, or referring the customers at another business location, if a customer needs a part that is not stocked. Unpacking and marking incoming parts and storing them in the stockroom according to a prearranged system.Receiving and filling telephone orders.Keeping catalogs and price lists up-to-date.Recording sales and taking inventory.Projecting a positive attitude for the benefit of our customers and fellow employees.Read, understand, and adhere to all rules, regulations and procedures as per company policiesEnsure that all work performed is thorough, accurate, and completed in a timely fashion.Work effectively without supervision.What do you need to succeed?1-3 years automotive parts experience is considered an asset.Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record. Automotive knowledge shall be considered as an asset.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.Personable, adaptable, and versatile.May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Willing to work as a member of a team and interact with others in a professional and courteous manner.What’s in it for you?Excellent management support and guidanceOpportunities through our Internal career mobility programAccess to health, dental and vision insuranceDisability, critical illness and life insurance for the unexpectedOur Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) for you and your family's wellnessDiscount on vehicles, service and parts for you and your familyDiscounts to retailers and service providers across the countryFree and engaging employee events Did we mention we love giving back to our communities?***This compensation range will be based on knowledge, experience and bonus earnings***Job Type: Full Time - PermanentCompensation: $40,000 - $60,000 per yearPerformance Auto Group is a leading automotive company in Southern Ontario with over 2000 employees, 23 brands and 44 locations in Brampton, Brantford, Bolton, Grimsby, Mississauga, Orangeville, St. Catharines, Huntsville and Toronto.
