Together as *McDonough | BID Canada*, we deliver innovative, in-house engineering and manufacturing solutions across North America and worldwide.*About the Role*We are seeking an experienced *Senior Structural Engineer* with a *Structural or Civil Engineering background* to join our team. The successful candidate *must hold a P.Eng designation in New Brunswick* with the ability to *stamp structural drawings*. If you excel in structural design, enjoy working in a collaborative manufacturing environment, and take pride in producing accurate, buildable drawings, we want to hear from you.*Responsibilities** Design, analyze, and review *structural components* for conveyor systems and heavy industrial equipment* Determine member sizes and connection details for structural assemblies based on structural calculations and customer specifications* Collaborate closely with engineering, fabrication, and production teams to ensure feasible and accurate designs* Support project execution, including occasional travel for site inspections and technical coordination* Provide engineering leadership and ensure full compliance with relevant codes and standards*What We’re Looking For** *Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering** *P.Eng designation in New Brunswick* with the ability to *stamp structural drawings** *5+ years of structural engineering experience*, ideally in industrial, heavy equipment, or manufacturing environments* Proficiency in *SolidWorks* and *AutoCAD** Experience with conveyor systems or heavy industrial equipment is a strong asset* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills* Ability to work collaboratively between engineering and production teams*What You Can Expect From Us*At McDonough | BID Canada, we believe hiring the brightest people is the key to shared success.
