Our valued not-for-profit client is seeking a Senior AI Strategy Advisor to define and operationalize an enterprise AI strategy for a crown corporation client8 to 12 week engagement in Ottawa, ON. Candidates with the ability to work on-site downtown Ottawa will be prioritized.Responsibilities:Define a clear and shared AI vision aligned with business strategy and organizational valuesIdentify the support model needed for Enterprise Business Solutions required to enable and sustain the client's AI capabilities (including roles, responsibilities and how this works within the existing structure).Refine and operationalize the governance model to support the identified maturity level the team is working towards (including tooling recommendations)Establish a communication strategyEstablish a training plan both for general users and technology resourcesDevelop a phased roadmap to advance AI maturity over a 5 year period, including quick wins and long-term initiatives.Scope of Work:Discovery & AssessmentBenchmarkingGap Analysis & RecommendationsRoadmap DevelopmentExecutive Summary & PresentationDetailed Assessment Report for both current and future state; options for support model and related costs with risks and opportunities called out for eachMust Have Skills:Significant experience in AI strategy, digital transformation, or enterprise technology consulting.Proven experience designing and operationalizing enterprise AI strategies and governance models.Demonstrated success advising senior executives (C-suite / VP level) on AI or data-driven transformation.Experience leading AI maturity assessments and multi-year roadmap development.Nice to Haves:Experience designing or operating an AI Center of Excellence (AICoE).Strong knowledge of emerging AI regulations and standards (e.g., responsible AI frameworks, model governance standards).Exposure to GenAI strategy, adoption patterns, and risk considerations.Disclaimer:AI may be used in evaluating candidates.This posting is for an existing vacancy.
