The Opportunity

We are currently seeking Instrumentation Co-op Students to join our Maintenance team in Sudbury, ON.

These opportunities are fixed term co-op positions, for 12 weeks in duration, beginning June 2025.

In this position you will:

  • Although previous experience in mining or an industrial setting is considered an asset, we also appreciate that diversity of thought comes from our differences – and that’s what makes us great
  • The ideal candidate will have the necessary skills to motivate and participate productively in a team environment, demonstrate strong leadership skills, enthusiasm, flexibility and creativity
  • Follow Vale’s safety policies, programs and legislative standards
  • The role may require shift work (rotating days and nights)
  • Strong organization, written and oral communication skills; good listening abilities
  • Must be obsessed with safety and risk
  • Demonstrate open and transparent dialogue in all aspects of work


About You

Education: We are looking for students currently enrolled and in good standing in an Instrumentation College program.
