We are seeking a highly organized and proactive IT Asset Management Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT assets, procurement activities, and cellular mobility for the organization. This role involves close collaboration with helpdesk technicians, users, and vendors to ensure efficient IT operations and support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day IT asset management activities, including collecting, organizing, and distributing IT equipment, managing IT inventory for local and regional offices, and maintaining digital records of IT assets.
  • Handle day-to-day IT procurement activities, working closely with users and vendors to track and manage the procurement lifecycle from request to distribution.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's cellular mobility, including ordering, receiving, setting up devices, and running reports for cost-saving measures.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to IT asset management and procurement, including age analysis, audits, and job aids.
  • Support the classification and assignment of helpdesk tickets.
  • Manage and support tickets for asset management, including creating purchase orders, ordering equipment, and managing ticketing systems with input serial numbers and dates.
  • Oversee the laptop leasing program and collaborate with IT technicians, area team2 leads, and business leadership for approvals.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT asset management, procurement, or a related field.
  • College diploma in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of O365 and DaaS (Device as a Service).
  • Experience in inventory management for multiple locations.
  • Mobility experience with carriers, setting up cellphones and iPads.
  • Customer service and vendor management experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Experience with a ticket management system is a strong asset.
  • Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
