Overview

The Driver/ Warehouse Technician Flex position will contribute to the success of Frito Lay Canada by playing a critical role in the “move” portion of our business. This position will deliver product and support in the DC, as well as ensure they are performing their job efficiently and effectively.

Compensation: Starting at $27.25 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading product
  • Rotation of product in the DC.
  • Maintaining the DC sanitation as needed.
  • Delivering product to grocery stores.
  • Other tasks as required.

Shift: This is a full-time position, and you will be working up to 40 hours per week. Depending on the needs of business, you may be working over-time. Preference for candidates with availability of 7 days per week as schedule may vary.

Schedule: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, evening/ night shift

Qualifications

  • Ability to drive 5-ton vehicles (Class 5 license, airbrakes not required), as well as a clean drivers abstract.
  • Daily, accurate reconciliation of paperwork and inventory.
  • Understanding of customer delivery systems and warehousing experience.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Work life experience would be considered an asset.

Physical demands and working conditions:

  • Must be able to lift/carry 45-60 lbs. constantly for 8-12 hours a day.
  • Must be able to push/pull up to 80 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.
  • Completing Safety, Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Safety and Food Safety policies that is required for your area.
