Overview The Manager, Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) will act as the safety lead for Water Infrastructure Services across North America, working closely with local leadership and the EHS team to enhance the company’s EHS performance. Responsibilities What your days look like as a Manager EHS Develop and implement EHS prevention and improvement strategies in collaboration with operations, ensuring effective management of the EHS program. Champion and communicate the EHS culture company-wide, establishing it as a core value across all teams and locations. Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to continuously improve EHS culture and performance. Ensure incident management processes are followed and collaborate with the operations to implement corrective and preventive actions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices, providing guidance on OHS legislation across jurisdictions. Conduct regular site visits to support safety culture and oversee the implementation of preventative measures. Oversee audit processes, analyze trends, and propose improvements, including COR processes across Canada. Proactively analyze EHS performance, produce KPIs, and make strategic and tactical recommendations to leadership. Participate in H&S Committees, ensuring their effectiveness across different jurisdictions. Provide leadership and support to local EHS team members across various business units. Develop EHS training programs and strategy for business lines, in collaboration with HR. Liaise with H&S regulatory representatives and follow up on requirements. Oversee the alignment and support of Corporate EHS programs and objectives. Qualifications To succeed as a Manager EHS, you must have A post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience. CRSP or CSP certification desired.- COR Auditor certification an asset, at a minimum candidate must be familiar with COR process 5+ years of proven success leading and managing a Health and Safety Program in an environment or construction industry. An extensive experience in EHS, ideally within infrastructure services or similar industries. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams. A deep knowledge of EHS regulations and industry best practices. An excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bilingual (an asset) Why ALTRA | SANEXEN?
