About the Role:The Product Manager for Tracking Devices and Indoor IoT Solutions will lead the development, implementation, and scaling of cutting-edge tracking products, including those leveraging UWB (Ultra-Wideband), BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), and indoor tracking technologies. This individual will be responsible for defining product strategies, collaborating with development and engineering teams, and ensuring successful market adoption. A strong technical understanding of MQTT protocols, IoT hardware, and device integration is critical to this role.
Responsibilities:Product Strategy and Roadmap- Define and maintain the product roadmap for tracking solutions utilizing UWB, BLE, and indoor tracking technologies.
- Align product development with Zenduit’s business objectives and market needs.
- Monitor and respond to market trends, competitor strategies, and technological advancements in IoT and tracking solutions.
- Work closely with hardware engineers, firmware developers, and software teams to ensure seamless device integration and performance.
- Provide expertise on MQTT protocols for efficient communication between IoT devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with third-party hardware vendors to evaluate and implement UWB and BLE solutions.
- Engage with customers, channel partners, and internal teams to gather feedback and identify needs for indoor and asset tracking solutions.
- Translate customer requirements into detailed product specifications and features.
- Ensure usability and reliability of solutions for diverse use cases, including fleet management, asset tracking, and indoor positioning.
- Oversee product lifecycle from concept to launch, including testing, deployment, and scaling.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, messaging, and sales enablement materials.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and implement improvements based on customer feedback and analytics.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related activities and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Work with procurement and operations teams to ensure supply chain readiness for hardware products.
- Coordinate with the finance team to align pricing strategies with market demand and profitability goals.
- Ensure all tracking products meet regulatory and compliance standards for the regions they are deployed in.
- Stay updated on emerging standards in UWB, BLE, and IoT protocols.
- Deep understanding of UWB and BLE technologies for tracking and communication.
- Expertise in MQTT protocols for IoT messaging and device communication.
- Familiarity with IoT hardware development and integration, including sensors and gateways.
- Knowledge of indoor positioning systems (IPS) and asset tracking workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating hardware and software solutions.
- Experience working with IoT platforms, data visualization tools, and device management systems.
- Familiarity with API design and integration for connecting IoT devices to software platforms.
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems and firmware development is a plus.
- Proven ability to define and execute product roadmaps.
- Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on IoT devices and tracking solutions.
- Hands-on experience with UWB, BLE, or similar wireless communication technologies.
- Background in working with hardware vendors, software engineers, and IoT integrators.
- Industry experience in telematics, asset tracking, fleet management, or IoT applications is highly desirable.
- Product Delivery: Ensure >95% of product milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Market Adoption: Achieve >20% YoY growth in market adoption of UWB and BLE tracking solutions.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain >90% satisfaction rate for indoor tracking solutions.
- Feature Utilization: Drive >70% utilization of key features within six months of product launch.
