You are detail oriented, analytical, and a self-starter. You love the rush of solving complex problems and are motivated to achieve goals through your own enthusiasm. You’re like a one-sided balance sheet… all assets and no liabilities.

As the Jr. Accountant, you are an integral part of the finance team, responsible for bank reconciliations, AP, AR, preparing reports, inter-company transfers and learning the month-end processes. You will also support the team in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and account reconciliations. You know, all those accounting things that you learned in school. The goal for our Jr. Accountants… become a Sr. Accountant.

This role is perfect for your curious mindset and “compounded interest” in learning all about full lifecycle accounting in a complex, multi-divisional company. This position, located in downtown Kelowna at our offices within Prospera Place.

In a perfect world, you have completed your bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and have advanced MS excel and MS Office application skills. We’ll be giving a little extra “credit” to you if you’ve already got some experience working in the accounting field and have exposure to Microsoft Dynamics.
