HOURS: 12 hours per week, Evenings, Monday through Thursday, as scheduled.
JOB SUMMARY:

The Program Supervisor will assist the implementation of a recreational program involving youth who are 10 -16 years of age.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Considered Applicants must:
  • University Student enrolled in a bachelor’s program.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other employees, the general public, volunteers, and community agencies.
  • Experience in planning both short and long term recreation activities.
  • Experience in planning recreational activities that are both gym related, and non-gym related.
  • Ability to carry out work roles with a minimum of supervision.
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to interpret situations accurately and to act accordingly.
  • Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
  • Training in crisis intervention, anger and behaviour management techniques would be an asset.
  • Valid St. John’s Ambulance Emergency First Aid Certificate would be an asset.
