Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Teacher to inspire and educate students across k-12 grade levels. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs, and promote academic growth. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the educational experience. A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success are essential. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in subjects such as Math, Computer Science, or Special Education. Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters respect. Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and observations; provide constructive feedback. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and special education needs. Incorporate technology and computer skills into lessons to enhance engagement and understanding. Tutor students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress reports. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student development and address any concerns. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices. Skills Experience working with children in an educational setting or tutoring environment. Strong knowledge of Math, English, or Special Education principles. Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere. Effective communication skills for engaging students, parents, and staff. Classroom experience demonstrating ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners. Passion for teaching and fostering student growth through innovative instructional methods. Mandarin is a strong asset. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 20 per week Benefits: Casual dress Company events On-site parking Work Location: In person
