Our client is a leader in medical imaging solutions and is seeking a Field Service Technician / Engineer to join their team in Winnipeg, MB. This is a permanent position reporting to the Regional Service Manager, responsible for the repair, maintenance, calibration, and installation of diagnostic imaging systems in hospitals and clinics. This role ensures reliable equipment performance, exceptional customer support, and compliance with safety and performance standards. It requires a proactive service approach, technical expertise in diagnostic imaging, and strong communication skills to meet the expectations of healthcare clients. If you have Field Service experience with diagnostic imaging modalities, would like to be a part of a strong team with excellent compensation and benefits, and would like to learn more - please apply belowQUALIFICATIONS - Field Service Engineer - Diagnostic Imaging (Winnipeg) 2+ years of experience maintaining diagnostic imaging equipment (hospital/medical setting preferred)College or university education in electronics, biomedical engineering, electromechanics, or related fieldKnowledge of modalities such as radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, MRI, and nuclear medicineFamiliarity with PACS, SIR, and DICOM standards an assetExperience with X-ray, breast imaging, and ultrasound equipment an assetWorking knowledge of computer systems, Windows OS, and networks preferredStrong documentation and reporting skillsExcellent English communication skills (French/English bilingualism an asset) RESPONSIBILITIES - Field Service Engineer - Diagnostic Imaging (Winnipeg) Install and calibrate new diagnostic imaging equipment in hospitals and clinicsPerform commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repairs on imaging systemsMonitor equipment safety and maintain required performance standardsProvide high-quality service and maintain effective communication with customersComplete all required documentation, test reports, and service recordsTravel to client sites for scheduled and emergency service activitiesService radiography, mammography, and computer-assisted radiology systemsManage time and assigned projects effectivelySupport organizational policies, procedures, and best practicesParticipate in rotating on-call schedule to respond outside business hours APPLICATION - Field Service Engineer - Diagnostic Imaging (Winnipeg) If this matches your professional background in field service engineering for medical imaging equipment in the Winnipeg and Manitoba regions please apply as directed here.
