FedEx seeks a Ramp Handler skilled in freight scanning and transport. Load and unload aircraft and vehicles while supporting facility operations.
This interview position focuses on ramp handling for FedEx aircraft, vehicles, and facilities. You will scan and transport freight between the ramp and facility. The work requires safe equipment use, completed ramp training, and annual accreditation recurrency. Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset. Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and time management skills support the work. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload FedEx aircraft
- Load and unload FedEx vehicles
- Scan freight accurately during handling
- Transport freight to and from the ramp
- Move freight within the facility
Requirements:
- High school diploma or educational equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Successful completion of required ramp training and certification
- Annual recurrency training before accreditation expiration
- Ability to lift 70 pounds and maneuver 150-pound packages with equipment
Support FedEx freight operations through aircraft handling, equipment certification, scanning, transport, and dependable communication skills.
