As Department Sales Manager of Hardgoods, you will coach and develop employees while guiding an exceptional customer experience. You will plan daily sales activity, build customer relationships, and support staff through communication, feedback, and ongoing mentorship. The position suits a proven retail manager passionate about people, sports, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and develop the department team continuously
- Build and manage daily department sales plans
- Create development plans for full-time staff
- Lead huddles, meetings, and coaching sessions
- Maintain a positive work environment for staff
Requirements:
- Minimum two years in a retail environment
- Supervisory-level retail experience preferred
- Proven business growth track record
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Sports or sporting goods involvement is an asset
