Maintain guest spaces at Marriott Château Champlain as a casual Houseperson in downtown Montreal, focusing on cleaning, safety, and detail.
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, this Houseperson keeps hotel rooms, common areas, and equipment clean and in good working order. The role supports a 36-floor hotel with 614 rooms, 13 suites, and 25 meeting rooms. French proficiency is required, while English is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean common areas, hallways, and designated spaces
- Change bedding and towels in rooms and suites
- Disinfect bathrooms, toilets, sinks, and showers
- Use cleaning products safely under hotel standards
- Report repairs and replacements to the Head Housekeeper
Requirements:
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and products
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Attention to cleanliness and detail
- Ability to manage priorities under pressure
- French proficiency and high school diploma required
