Our client’s Mississauga facility is seeking an experienced Machinist The successful candidate will independently plan and perform all operations required to set up and operate turning and non-turning machines. Perform tool proving and provide training support related to turning and/or non-turning operations, as required Mount, align, and secure work-holders, tooling, attachments, CNC/NC programs, and precision measuring devices Inspect and verify dimensions of completed work Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship or a combination of 4 years of relevant work experience and/or industry machining courses (eligible for Trade Certification) ~ 3–5 years of experience as a Machinist, Tool & Die Maker, or Machining Tool Operator ~ Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred ~ Ability to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods and Contract Security clearances Generous company pension plan Employee Assistance Program Employee social initiatives Our client respects the privacy and confidentiality of all personal information provided by candidates and will not disclose such information to external parties unless required by law.
