Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk
- Review various types of invoices and match them with purchase orders, delivery slips, and approvals to ensure that quantities and prices are accurate and that purchases have been authorized;
- Obtain approval from the appropriate department for invoices without purchase orders;
- Verify or assign the correct general ledger
