POSITION DUTIES Manages and coordinates Downtown Revitalization construction projects and other contracts in the field.
Conducts contract administration/inspection on the City staff administered construction projects as well as monitors/provides support for the consultant administered construction projects to ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract documents and the City standards.
Operates city vehicle.
Inspects materials upon delivery to site to ensure they meet City standards and discards deficient materials as required.
Determines field tests requirements and performs routine quality control testing of materials during construction.
Coordinates with material testing consultants and ensure that required testing is carried out and test results received in time to take required action as per contract.
Coordinates scheduling of survey crews for construction layout and quality assurance.
Prepares daily construction detailed reports; assimilates and maintains accurate records of the project; maintains detailed records to measure contractors’ progress for
