Le ferblantier ou la ferblantière assemble, installe et répare les conduits et les réseaux complets de ventilation dans des bâtiments commerciaux, institutionnels et industriels, en construction ou existant. Il peut aussi être appelé à en faire l’entretien ou le remplacement. Il ou elle installe également des appareils de ventilation, climatisation et chauffage.

Rôles et responsabilités :

  • Prise de mesure au chantier pour la conception des conduits de ventilation;
  • Préparer et rassembler le matériel requis à l’exécution des travaux;
  • Lire et interpréter les plans et devis d’installation et autres spécifications;
  • Installer et utiliser de l’équipement de mise en place et de levage;
  • Ajuster et assembler les conduits de ventilations et autres pièces métalliques avec les outils adéquats;
  • Inspecter la qualité des produits et des installations afin d’assurer leur conformité;
  • Suivre l’avancement du chantier afin d’assurer le respect des délais et échéances;
  • Toujours respecter les normes de santé et sécurité en vigueur.

  • Diplôme d'études secondaire, jumelé à de l'expérience dans du travail manuel;
  • Facilité à travailler en équipe
