We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team as a Pediatric Physiotherapist. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families by facilitating their physical development and well-being in the comfort of their homes and within community settings.

Job Description:

As a Pediatric Physiotherapist with Closing the Gap Healthcare, you will be responsible for providing specialized physiotherapy care to pediatric patients, utilizing your knowledge of legislation, regulations, and policies applicable to practice. You will work collaboratively with our high-performing team to develop, implement, and evaluate physiotherapy care plans, ensuring seamless delivery of services that meet the unique needs of each child.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose conditions affecting pediatric patients, developing tailored physiotherapy care plans to address specific needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, educators, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver physiotherapy interventions, incorporating principles of reflective practice to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Manage time and workload effectively, prioritizing tasks and adjusting schedules as needed to meet client demands.
  • Maintain accurate and secure documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and professional standards.
Requirements:
  • Current active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario in good standing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pediatric physiotherapy, with knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and policies.
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing complex caseloads and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • A valid Driver's License and reliable insured vehicle, with willingness to travel between locations.
