Support student learning at Unity Composite High School through patience, empathy, communication, and organized educational assistance. This temporary full-time position works Monday to Friday.
Living Sky School Division seeks an Educational Assistant for its Grades 7-12 collaborative learning community. The position supports student engagement, academic success, and well-being while respecting different learning needs. Hours are six per day, beginning immediately and ending June 30, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support student learning and engagement at Unity Composite High School
- Help make learning fun through patience and empathy
- Contribute to meaningful learning experiences and student well-being
- Collaborate with staff within a shared-values school culture
- Work independently while maintaining strong communication
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- At least one year of relevant childcare experience
- Early Learning and Childcare certificate considered an asset
- Youth Care Worker certificate or equivalent considered an asset
- Strong planning, organization, initiative, and communication skills
Bring patience, empathy, organization, and communication skills to support learners at Unity Composite High School through June 2027.
