Lead Calgary technology implementations using PMBOK standards, enterprise tools, and strong stakeholder communication in a flexible hybrid work schedule. Manage complex projects across multidisciplinary teams.
This Senior IT Project Manager contract leads corporate technology projects from initiation through delivery. You will oversee COTS, custom in-house, and cloud solutions while aligning IT teams, business clients, contractors, and vendors. The work requires strategic awareness, political acumen, and disciplined project control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full project lifecycles using PMBOK best practices
- Lead and align multidisciplinary technology project teams
- Plan resources, budgets, billing, and cost recoveries
- Maintain schedules using enterprise project management tools
- Deliver status reports, presentations, and facilitated meetings
Requirements:
- 10+ years managing COTS, in-house, and cloud solutions
- 10+ years leading multidisciplinary IT project teams
- Formal project management certification, such as PMI PMP
- 5+ years using enterprise project management tools
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and political acumen
