The Role We’re looking for an organized and proactive Material Purchasing Coordinator to support day-to-day purchasing at our Windsor facility. This role keeps materials flowing smoothly to support production—always with a customer-first mindset and a commitment to quality without compromise . What You’ll Do Assist in sourcing and procuring ingredients, packaging materials, and indirect goods in alignment with production schedules and quality standards Help negotiate contracts and pricing with Canadian and international suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data in the ERP system Communicate with suppliers to resolve shortages, delays, or quality issues Collaborate with Production, Quality, R&D, and Logistics to support operations and new products Support food safety and regulatory compliance (CFIA, Safe Food for Canadians Regulations) Assist with cost-saving, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Business, Food Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3-5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience (food or CPG an asset) ERP and Microsoft Office experience, with strong attention to detail A collaborative team player who values diverse perspectives and takes pride in doing things right Curious, motivated, and eager to learn and grow Why You’ll Love Working at Dainty Foods A customer-first, quality-driven culture A one-team environment that celebrates everyday wins Opportunities to bring curiosity, passion, and ownership to your work
