To learn more about Uptime Industrial and the core values that shape the company today, visit Reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, the Apprentice Millwright will be responsible for installing new manufacturing equipment in Port Kells, BC, working Monday to Friday for 10 hours per day on the day shift. The contract will begin in January 2026 and conclude in May 2026. There may be an opportunity to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis afterward, depending on further assessments and team capacity. Key Responsibilities Include Travel to a customer site in Port Kells, BC to install new manufacturing equipment;Ensure all executed work follows scope and meets quality standards;Maintain exceptional communication standards, setting clear expectations and guiding the customer experience throughout;Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including completing daily FLRAs. The ideal candidate is someone who has completed their Level 2 Millwright Technical Training and has experience working in commercial or industrial sites. You are someone who has a desire to grow and advance your career as an millwright through hands-on learning and mentorship. People would describe you as someone who does the right thing and goes the extra mile. You are fueled by the opportunity to try new things, investigating problems, and creating customized unique solutions. Our Must Haves 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role; Successful completion of Level 2 - Millwright Apprenticeship; Owns personal hand tools and approved footwear; Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License and has reliable transportation; Experience working in the food, horticulture, or manufacturing industry will be considered an asset.
