We are looking for a dynamic Account Manager with a strong technology background to drive business development and enhance client relationships across Canada. A proven background in sales/business development coupled with an established network is required.

Position Overview

As an Account Manager, you will be a key player in our Technology Financing team, responsible for developing and managing a robust portfolio of clients. Your technical expertise and sales acumen will be essential in identifying opportunities, crafting tailored financing agreements, and delivering exceptional service. A flexible work environment is offered.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect Development : Create and manage a targeted list of potential clients, focusing on generating predictable and sustainable business volume.

Proactive Outreach : Employ innovative prospecting techniques including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach to engage decision-makers.

Sales Process Management : Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospect identification to negotiation and execution of financing agreements.

Client Needs Analysis : Assess client requirements and financial situations to design customized financing solutions that align with their goals.

Creditworthiness Assessment : Collaborate with underwriters to evaluate financing applications and assess client creditworthiness.

Market Insights : Stay updated on industry trends, equipment financing developments, and emerging market opportunities.

Transaction Resolution : Address and resolve any transaction-related issues with a customer-centric approach.

Relationship Building : Develop and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients and vendors to ensure long-term partnerships.

Continuous Improvement : Adapt to the evolving nature of the role and undertake additional tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the technology finance sector or in sales for an IT Value-Added Reseller (VAR) or Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to specific market segments.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Results-driven and action-oriented, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while being a strong team player.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of current market trends in technology financing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset to serve clients across all provinces.
