Fortinet seeks a detail-oriented Cyber Threat Researcher with 1-3 years of experience. This role focuses on network security, threat intelligence, and conducting in-depth packet analysis using tools like Wireshark and Zeek. You will analyze network behaviors, author technical content, and contribute to proactive threat hunting in customer NDR datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and analyze threat intelligence for actionable insights
• Perform network packet analysis using Wireshark
• Analyze network traffic with Zeek and DPI engines
• Author clear technical articles for the security community
• Monitor emerging threats and map to MITRE ATT&CK framework
Requirements:
• 1-3 years in cybersecurity with network focus
• Proficiency in Linux and command-line tools
• Experience with packet capture analysis
• Familiarity with network analysis tools
• Solid understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
