Build resident relationships and manage leasing at CAPREIT as a customer-oriented Leasing Specialist supporting residential communities across Canada.
This Leasing Specialist opportunity suits candidates with customer service, sales, office administration, or related experience. Serve as a frontline liaison while addressing concerns and maintaining resident satisfaction. Use communication, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills throughout leasing and property operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with residents and address their concerns
- Manage leasing from initial inquiry through new resident onboarding
- Monitor vacancies and achieve leasing targets
- Collect payments and inspect the property
- Facilitate resident moves and maintenance requests
Requirements:
- One to two years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is an asset
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Evening and weekend availability when business requirements require
