Senior Tax Analyst, Transfer Pricing

Our client is one of the largest waste management companies in North America. They are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team Assist with the preparation of the quarterly tax provision under US GAAP Preparation of federal and provincial income tax returns Calculating monthly tax installments Preparation and filing of commodity tax returns Prepare working papers to address various CRA / Provincial tax audit inquiries Keep informed of tax laws, regulations, and rulings pertaining to international, federal, provincial and local taxes Analyze and prepare internal memos and reports on the tax effects of business transactions Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance ~ 2 - 4 years experience working in a tax department of a public accounting firm or large corporation ~ Experience with large corporate or complex tax provision preferred ~ Completion or enrollment in the CPA In-Depth Tax Course is an asset ~ Strong computer skills in MS Office and TaxPrep tax software experience Vaco by Highspring values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
