Lead receiving operations at The Home Depot Canada in Midland, Ontario, using team leadership, organization, and operational decision-making skills.
As a full-time Receiving Supervisor, you will guide associates under Department Supervisor management. The position focuses on performance development, safety, shipment planning, merchandise processing, and receiving accuracy while supporting store results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage associate performance through coaching, communication, and feedback
- Communicate and enforce Safety and Asset Protection protocols
- Review inbound shipments and plan receiving or pack-out needs
- Process shipping paperwork, including Bills of Lading
- Unload merchandise and verify quantity and quality
Requirements:
- One to two years supervising or leading teams
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, and weekends
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service and decision-making abilities
- Problem-solving skills for receiving operations
